A team comes back from being three goals down in the first fifteen minutes.

Down a man and three goals by 15th minute, CSKA Moscow was all set for a long and miserable day playing versus Mordovia Saransk in the Russian Premier League on Saturday, September 19th. This was the score at halftime, too. However, in a very rare performance, CSKA managed to draw the game level by 60th minutes, scoring three unanswered goals. Mordovia went ahead 4:3 shortly thereafter, only to concede three more goals and finish the game with the score of 6:4 in CSKA's favor.

That's six goals scored by CSKA in the second half alone!

When asked after the game how he motivated his team for this miraculous comeback, CSKA manager Leonid Slutskiy answered that he promised to the team that if they didn't win this game the entire team would have to travel to Irkutsk for a cup game on Wednesday. This upcoming journey of over 5,000 kilometers from Moscow to Irkutsk apparently motivated the team to give a much better performance in the second half and win the game.
